Give The Gift Of Metroparks
Holiday Pop Up Shop has been extended for your last-minute holiday shopping. Metroparks apparel, memberships, and gift certificates make great gifts.
All items are available for purchase at the Metz Visitor Center located at Wildwood Preserve during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds from sales will be used to continue our mission to make our parks clean, safe, natural and enjoyable.
Metrobucks are a prepaid gift to experience programming and rentals at your favorite Metroparks. Metrobucks can be redeemed to experience a variety of activities. Some of our most popular activities include:
- Summer Camps
- Tree Climbing
- Stand Up Paddle Boarding
- Escape the Manor House
Metrobucks can also be applied toward the cost of all rental facilities.
Stay and Play
We are pleased to offer a limited number of customized experiences that allow you to experience Metroparks on a whole new level. The following are available on a first-come first-serve basis:
Winter Wonderland experience
Stay overnight in either the Caretaker’s Cottage or Pine Ridge Chalet and enjoy either a 1-mile nature hike or 3-5 mile fitness hike/snowshoe guided by one of our naturalists. Available for parties of 5 or 8. Priced at $350 + $100 damage deposit.
Private Kayak Eco Tour
Spend a night on your own private island at our cabin on Granger Island. One of our guides will take your party of up to four on an exclusive kayak eco tour throughout the surrounding areas on the Maumee River. Priced at $400 + $100 damage deposit.
Hiking Through Oaks
Stay overnight in either the Caretaker’s Cottage or Pine Ridge Chalet and enjoy either a 1-mile nature hike or 3-5 mile fitness hike guided by one of our naturalists. Available for parties of 5 or 8. Priced at $300 + $100 damage deposit.
Birds of a Feather
Hundreds of bird species pass through our region each year during migration windows. Don't be a stringer! One of our staff members will guide your party of up to six on a three hour birding tour helping to locate and properly identify some of these rare species. Priced at $150.
