2019 Summer Camping Series

Search for Sasquatch and Overnight Camping

Sasquatch is out and on the run. Help Metroparks track him down then set-up your tent and join us for a movie before you spend the night under the stars. We will also have our archery range open from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to try shooting an arrow for the first time. All archery equipment provided. 

Movie and Popcorn under the night sky. Join us for a free movie under the stars. Our feature movie will be ‘Harry and the Hendersons’. Bring a blanket/chairs and enjoy an outdoor movie experience. Popcorn will be available for a small fee, provided by Volunteers In Parks. 

This campout is dog-friendly for friendly dogs. A campfire with s'mores will be provided. Bring your own camping equipment and any food you may want. 

Standard Campsite [Register]
Campsites will be ready and available starting at 6 p.m. Friday evening and all tents need to be removed by 11 a.m. Saturday morning. Each campsite can accommodate six people per site. Each campsite is 15 x 15 ft. Fee: $25 per site (bring your own equipment i.e. tent, sleeping bag etc.).


Premium Campsites: No tent? No problem! Let us do all the hard work for you! Premium campsites are $100 per site.

Platform Sites [Register]
Includes: Set-up, one traditional 2-person tent, 2 sleeping pads and 2 sleeping bags.

Tree Tent Site [Register]
Includes: Set-up, tree-tent which sleeps 3, 4 sleep pads and 4 sleeping bags.

Private Site [Register]
Includes: Set-up, 4-person tent on the static range, 4 sleeping pads, and 4 sleeping bags.

Restrooms are in close proximity.

Campsites will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. They will be ready and available starting at 6 p.m. Friday night. All tents need to be removed by 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
